Our Mandate:
Our call as a church is to pray for the soul of nations, specifically for America and the nations of the world to return to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We are called to pray for America to return to the faith of its founding fathers, to return to righteousness and living by the word of God. Like the story of the prodigal son in the Bible, we are called to pray that this country will come back to its senses, repent and be reconciled to God:
Luke 15:17-20, KJV
17 And when he came to himself, he said, how many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,
19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
20 And he arose and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
As revival breaks out in America, it will spread to other countries of the world. Whatever activity we are involved in like; evangelism, praying for the sick, taking care of the less privileged and the hurting and preaching the word of God amongst other activities, it is geared towards bringing revival to this land. Our cry is “Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”, Matthew 6:10.
Who we are:
We are Christ followers from all walks of life and different geographical locations. We meet physically and online for services. We promote the principle of gathering together in homes like it was in the New Testament but also have central locations in different countries. Request a church meeting in your home: Members can email us on empoweringnationsinc@gmail.com and request to book a time slot for the church to meet at their home. The ministry will give details on how to host a service whether virtually or on location.
Our Pastors
Judith & Godfrey Ebil have been part of the church since they were young kids. God used this time to mold their hearts to love God and all God’s people of all color and origin. Having founded a nonprofit known as Empowering Nations that has touched different nations, God called them to specifically pray for the soul of America and for the nations to return to God.
They have travelled to different states and met different people to share this same call for revival. They feel the urgency to encourage others to open up their hearts and homes and invite God to bring revival to their own homes and nations. Both Judith and Godfrey are ordained ministers and have formal training as ministers of the gospel. Having grown up in Africa and now living in the USA, they are able to relate at an international level and bring different nations and cultures together for the cause of building the body of Christ.
