Currently, our women’s ministry is partnering with 32 vulnerable women living in the village of Nangabo, a small suburb of Kampala, Uganda. These women are beautiful, ambitious and talented yet are at a disadvantage due to factors that are outside of their control. Most of the women are single, unemployed mothers with little to no education. Some of these women have been diagnosed with HIV, which makes it far more difficult for them to provide for their children.
We believe that with the help of Christ, the women in this program are fully capable of making a better life for themselves and their families. We seek to come along side in helping them reach their full, God-given potential as empowered women.
Empowering Nations has a holistic model in that we aim to provide resources and opportunities that target all facets of these women’s lives (body, mind, and spirit).
Empowering Nations currently assists these women through life skills, vocational training, micro-finance loans and medical care.
The ministry is registered as a 501(c)(3).
