Dr Maurice Tukamuhebwa is currently serving as the Executive Director (ED) of Hamatans Limited – a company dealing in Hospitality, Real Estate and business/management and leadership consultancies. He also provides academic mentorship in research to Graduate Students across the globe and sits on various Boards of companies within the private sector in Uganda. Maurice is passionate about financial prosperity and has helped Christian individuals and institutions to start, manage and grow their finances. This has majorly revolved around establishing social financial enterprises such as Revolving Funds (RFs) and Savings and Credit Cooperative Societies (SACCOS).

Maurice has had the chance to work in different countries and organizations and consequently amassed enviable experience in appreciating different cultures, norms and values. Some of these experiences notably those in South Sudan, Afghanistan and United Kingdom have been instrumental in shaping his world-view and helped him to be the person he is today. In all cases, he has come to appreciate that God’s Grace is abundant, free and more available to all of us than we normally care to realize.

From a strong Catholic background, Maurice came to know and accept the Lord 30 years ago and, by God’s unmerited Grace, has steadily walked the journey despite numerous challenges. He has been married to Hellen for 27 ears now and together have the wonderful privilege of stewarding 4 young adults and a grandson. They both love the Lord and have served at Watoto Church as Coordinators of the Marrieds Fellowship for the last 13 years.
