Judith Risa Ebil and her husband Godfrey Ebil founded Empowering Nations. She has a Bachelors in Law and a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources in Kampala and a Masters in Business (MBA) in the USA. She has 12 years of experience working with Non-profit organizations under different capacities. Her passion is to develop people especially in areas of Leadership and Business. She is a strong believer in God given talents and abilities and wants to use this platform to give people an opportunity to be developed so that they can fulfill their destiny.
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Alan is an attorney who received his BA in Political Science, summa cum laude, at Abilene Christian University in 1987, and then his JD, cum laud, at Pepperdine
University School of Law in 1990. Alan worked for 25 years as a litigator in a Los Angeles/New York law firm but now focuses on legal/consulting work for non-profits and churches. He and his wife Libby founded Today’s Urban Renewal Network (TURN) in 2004, which connects churches to do work with the poor and disenfranchised in their hometown of Riverside and around the world. Alan has done work in Uganda since 2010.

Teresa Beale has been an educator and businesswoman for 25 years. She has been involved with ministry in Uganda since 2005. Now retired, she and her husband, Neal, live in Norman, OK.
Local Area Director
Ammabel A. Rushaju holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Makerere University Kampala and also holds a certificate in Civic Empowerment from the M S Training Center for Development Cooperation (MSTCDC) in Arusha.She has worked as the administrator for R.U.N since 2007, an organization that meets unreached dental needs in Uganda. She is a dedicated Christian who is passionate about women’s emancipation. She has done various forms of social work with women and youth through R.U.N and Empowering Nations. Amma is currently monitors and implements all activities in Empowering Nations existing programs.
